Gerrity Lansing

Managing Director and Partner of BTG Pactual, Head of Global Alternatives and TIG
Gerrity is a Managing Director, Partner of BTG Pactual and Head of Global Alternatives and TIG. Prior to his current role, Gerrity was a Founder and CEO of Equator, LLC and its Brazilian subsidiary, TTG Brasil Investimentos Florestais Ltda (“TTG Brasil”), which was acquired by BTG Pactual in 2012. Prior to this, Gerrity spent nearly a decade as CEO of Madison Trading, LLC and Chatham Energy Partners, LLC (acquired by The Intercontinental Exchange). He is on the Board of the Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University, the Buckley School in New York City, the National Alliance of Forest Owners (NAFO) and La Fundación de la Universidad del Valle de Guatemala. Gerrity received his B.A. from Duke University.

Mitchell Kosches

Associate Partner of BTG Pactual, Chief Operating Officer and Head of Investment Management at Global Alternatives and TIG
Mitch is an Associate Partner of BTG Pactual and Chief Operating Officer and Head of Investment Management of BTG Pactual Global Alternatives and TIG. Mitch ensures that all aspects of BTG Pactual Global Alternatives are operating efficiently and effectively, as well as making certain that investors’ interests are represented throughout the investment cycle. Prior to this role, Mitch was a Founder and COO of Equator, LLC and its Brazilian subsidiary, TTG Brasil, where he was responsible for day-to-day operations. Prior to joining TTG Brasil, Mitch was the CFO of Chatham Energy Partners, LLC and Madison Trading, LLC. Mitch also worked as an investment banker, first at Gruntal & Co., and later at Brean Murray and Co., Inc. and as an accounting manager in Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette’s Merchant Banking Group. Mitch was formerly a licensed CPA, earned his B.S. from the State University of New York at Albany and his M.B.A. from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.

James Frank

Head of Strategic Capital
James is Head of Strategic Capital and an Investment Committee member. Prior to BTG Pactual, he was a Senior Managing Director and Head of Tactical Opportunities at Medley Management. Prior to joining Medley Management, James was a Partner at The Yucaipa Companies, where he focused on private equity and special situations. Prior to Yucaipa, James worked for Apollo Global Management, where he specialized in private equity and distressed debt investments. James began his career at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in the investment banking department. James has served on numerous boards, including: NorthStar Group Services, TexMark Timber Treasury, Americold Realty Trust (NYSE: COLD), Cloverleaf Cold Storage, Aurora Industrial, Unitek Global Services, Unified Disposal Partners, PSN, and Evergreen Environmental Partners, among others. He received a B.A. from Williams College and an M.B.A from Columbia Business School.

Tom Steiglehner

Head of U.S. Private Credit Investments
Tom Steiglehner is Head of US Private Credit Investments and an Investment Committee member. Since 1994, he has played key roles in starting and building credit businesses, investing and managing more than US$ 10B of senior and junior secured debt, mezzanine debt, high yield debt, and equity investments. Prior to his current role, Tom was an MD, Partner, Investment and Management Committee member, and Head of the New York office of Fidus Group. From 2011 through 2018, he was a key senior executive at Sixth Street Partners and helped to build its special situation and direct lending platforms as a co-founder and partner in TPG Specialty Lending (Ticker: TSLX). From 2003 to 2010, Tom co-founded and built the principal investing effort at Silver Point Capital. Prior to Silver Point, he was at Chase Manhattan Bank, Gleacher and Co., and Wells Fargo Foothill. Tom received a B.A. from Princeton University and a JD from Tulane University Law School.
